What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 11am (You can arrive anytime up until 12:30pm). Friendly staff will collect your bags of items at the entrance during check-in. Parents can relax with spa treatments such as massages. Kids can enjoy face painting and hang out in the art area. Healthy snacks will be provided.
How long does the Clothing Swap last?
The Clothing Swap begins at 1pm and lasts for an hour.
How does it work?
Wouldn't it be great to give away all the items your child will NEVER wear again, and choose some great pieces that they actually WILL wear? This innovative, fun, green idea inspires parents to clean out their kid's closets and gather all the 'perfectly good' items your kids no longer wears or uses.
The fun starts as soon as you bring these items to the Kids Clothing Swap event. As everyone's swappable items are being organized into a mini-boutique, parents can get pampered with relaxing massages. Children can enjoy face painting and create art in the art area.
When the Clothing Swap portion begins, you can SWAP (exchange) with others and take home your favorites for free. It's like a treasure hunt. There will be an array of clothing, shoes and accessories to choose from. Many items will be appropriate for your growing children. Parents can de-clutter, be green, save money and have a great time. You will also be helping your community since all unclaimed items are donated to a local childrens charity.
Is there Clothing Swap Etiquette?
Yes. Just like a day care center and yoga class have simple etiquette to follow, so do we. It is of the utmost importance to be polite to all swappers and their children. . Compliment often. Share.
Please be mindful that all unclaimed items are donated to children in need. This is an 'honor code' event where parents can give and get. Select items to take home carefully. Please only bring home what your kid(s) will wear.
Is this a free event?
Kids Clothing Swap is a kid-friendly event that is free for parents and their children up to the age of 12. Every child must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited and pre-registration is mandatory for everyone.
How do I register?
All adults will each need to pre-register for themselves and the number of children they plan on bringing.
Register online at www.clothingswap.com/kidsThere are no paper tickets. Those who pre-register will receive a confirmation email. Simply bring the confirmation email or confirmation code from Eventbrite. No walk-ins allowed because of limited capacity.
When web page says “Sold Out” does that mean it’s really sold out?
Yes. We regret that there is no waiting list, and no walk-ins because of limited capacity. However, if you wish to donate kids wardrobe items, please drop them off between 11AM and 12:30pm we will graciously accept your donation.
Where do all the unclaimed items go?
All unclaimed items will be donated directly to a local charity that helps children in need.
